Bulgaria - Varna Beach
Varna beach is located along Bulgaria’s Black Sea about 469 kilometers northeast from Sofia; the country’s capital and largest city. The area can accessed in many different ways but the most popular way is through the airport, the railways, or even through the seaport. Because of the area’s very remarkable beach, it has been nicknamed as the “gem of the Bulgarian Black Sea”.
Varna beach’s peak season is from July to August wherein many travelers spend their leisure period. During the summer season, the beach is flocked by many sightseers and vacationers from across Europe. Because of this, the area has been dubbed as Bulgaria’s “Summer Capital”. The beach has a very long stretch of sandy seashore and very clear waters. It is famous locally and through the rest of Europe because it offers ideal sunbathing conditions, Because of its location, the area has arctic Baltic wind that is perfect for the summer season and Riviera heat, which is good for the winter period.
Aside from its famous sunbathing condition, the beach also offers many leisure activities to its visitors. These include the Museum of Natural History, the Navy Museum, Seaside Park, Seaside Baths, the Aquarium, and the Dolphinarium. The Seaside Park is one of Varna beach’s oldest tourist destinations. It was established in 1878 and has been one of the most important historical areas. The Aquarium and the Dolphinarium has been added recently to provide mixture of tourist spots along the beach. Because of beach’s many avid tourists, the place has been internationalized and can now be accessed directly from the United Kingdom through Bulgaria Air and British Airways.
