Bigbury on sea in Devon has a very beautifully beach with pristine clean bathing water, there are areas where you can stand with the sea both in front and behind you as the sea is effectively a sand split that extends from the mainland to burg island. During the summer there is also a limited passenger ferry service, linking Bigbury on sea with Bantham beach on the other side of estuary. How to get there: From the A379, follow the B3392 to Bigbury on signs to the beach and car park.
