America- Panama City Beach Florida

Panama City Beach, also known by its abbreviation PCB, is located in the suburb of Panama City in Florida’s northwest region. It gazes over the Gulf of Mexico in the Bay County area. In 2000, it has more than 7,600 residents in its 7 square miles by 6.9 square miles district. The place, also nicknamed as “The World’s Most Beautiful Beach”, is of one the state’s most popular tourist destinations because of its fine white sand, clear seawaters, and great sun.

Many college and high school students from across the country visit the beach every year during the Spring Break season. In particular, the well-known student beach resort - La Vela have been an avid place for parties, gimmicks, and teen jams. Aside from students, the beach has also been an ardent tourist destination for many northern Americans and Canadians especially during the winter season.

Panama City Beach, also called as the “Redneck Riviera”, offers many leisure activities. This include golf, shopping, nightlife, water sports, fine dining, tennis, excursions, cruising, diving, fishing, and boating. A guest can also enjoy the place’s several attractions that include the Shell Island, Shipwreck Island Water Park, St. Andrews State Park, Junior Museum of Bay County, and the Gulf World Marine Park. In 1995, Panama City Beach was judged as the number one beach in the United States by Dr. Stephen Leatherman - a very respected beach critic. The place’s most famous pier, the Dan Russell Pier, is an active ground for many of Panama City Beach’s foremost festivals. Its 27-mile coastline coupled with its cool emerald-green seawaters and average tropical temperature of 70 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit is a perfect place for many vacationers. The area also experiences a 100 percent humidity almost everyday.
