Down in Charlotte, NC on October 1, Fanny, Teeny, Aunt Bunny (Chile please!) and the rest of the family are having a big baby shower to celebrate the upcoming birth of the singer’s second child.
And S2S is reporting that Fantasia is set to deliver a baby boy. How did she reveal the news? She cleverly dropped a line on the invite that read, "It’s a Boy."
Whether you feel some kind of way about the circumstances or not, Fantasia has had a helluva ride the past year or so. With the torrid affair, the suicide attempt and now the pregnancy, she has a lot to sing about and I’m sure that next album will be full of passion. Babies are always a blessing. Congrats Fanny!

While Beyonce might be letting her banging bod become a secondary priority now that she’s preggers and enjoying the glow (and cravings) of expectant motherhood, the latest House of Dereon fashion ad reminds fans of just how smoldering the ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ singer is.
Bey is wearing a second skin bandage-style minidress in a champagne shade that accent her assets. But it’s the accessories that make the statement in the ad; the accoutrement also make the look in real life. Here she is loaded up with accessories, namely a huge, silver, conversation — starting headpiece and stacks of bracelets that appear like armor. She completes the look with silver heels.
House of Dereon is Bey’s own clothing line which she created with her mother, Tina Knowles, who also serves as her stylist. This particular ad was shot by the uber famous shutterbug Terry Richardson and it captures Bey in all her divafied essence and glory.
Bey’s clothing line is relatively affordable, as far as fashion standards go, since it’s ready-to-wear. That means it’s mass manufactured by a factory and is not hand-stitched couture, so the price point is more appealing as it’s more affordable. The bandage dresses were popularized by high-end designer Herve Leger and those come with a steep price tag most ‘Single Ladies’ can’t readily afford unless they live on plastic. Bey, however, is bringing high fashion to her fans and to the working class but style-minded girl.

Today marked the 15th anniversary of the tragic death of Tupac Shakur with many stars paying their respects to the late rapper via Twitter. MC Hammer tweeted a picture of himself with Shakur and Big Boi confirmed that Outkast was slated to work with Tupac before his untimely death in 1996. Both Rev Run and rapper Mann pondered what Shakur’s Twitter feed would read like. We’re betting it would be filled with insightful musings, just as his music was. Timbaland, Sean Kingston, and Adam Levine all tweeted simple RIPs in their tributes to the rapper while Cataracs and Ciara declared their love for one of the best MCs of all time.

On Sept. 12, Beyonce and Jay-Z traveled to the New York City borough of Queens in order to take in the Men’s Final on Day Fifteen of the 2011 US Open. As always, the couple looked like they were having a fabulous time together, laughing and chatting with one another between tennis sets. At the match, Novak Djokovic of Serbia beat out Rafael Nadal of Spain for the win — we hope Jay didn’t place any bets on Nadal!
Seated in the audience at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the mommy-to-be was glowing as she laughed it up with her rappin’ soulmate. Both Bey and Jay kept their looks casual but cool, with Bey wearing a white, loose-fitted T-shirt (probably to conceal her baby bump from the crazed paparazzi) and a fedora, and Jay dressed in a simple button-up shirt and wayfarers.
It’s nice to see that Beyonce and Jay-Z are spending so much time together. They need to enjoy their last remaining months as a duo together, because they are about to add one more to their clan. We say have fun and relax before the baby comes — after all, these two are going to have lots of sleepless nights ahead of them.

Rihanna will serve as a guest judge on the upcoming singing competition ‘The X Factor,’ giving creator Simon Cowell his latest big name addition as he attempts to compete with similar programs ‘American Idol‘ and ‘The Voice.’
TMZ says the ‘Cheers (Drink to That)’ singer will be one of the guest judges who will help the show’s four mentor/judges — Cowell, Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and L.A. Reid — decide which contestants to select. The site says Rihanna enjoyed working on the finale of the UK version of ‘The X Factor’ last season and is eager to appear on the American show.
Also likely to appear on the upcoming season is Mariah Carey. Cowell pursued Carey for months and evidently finalized a role for her, although she reportedly missed an important taping due to Hurricane Irene. With the judges’ extensive connections within the music industry, we bet that Rihanna and Mariah are just the beginning in a long line of superstars who end up on the show.
With the first episode set to air in less than two weeks, ‘The X Factor’ has been ramping up its promotional efforts, releasing a series of ads teasing the upcoming season. The show premieres on FOX on Wednesday, September 21 at 8PM EST.
