PICS: Beyoncé & Her 16 Grammys Launch PULSE At Macy’s Herald Square

Beyoncé donned an all white halter gown with beaded trim around the next and feather detail on the bottom half at yet another fragrance launch today.  And the mom-to-be sashayed her way into Macy’s Herald Square in Manhattan to push her PULSE products.

Pics of Bey, plus Macy’s decor of the "1+1" singer’s 16 Grammys, inside…

Well that’s one way to catch people’s attention in Macy’s.  The department store laid out the red carpet for Mrs. Knowles Carter and set up all 16 of her Grammys in showcase cubes inside the store today.

And Beyoncé showed off her new PULSE fragrance for the fans:

Not loving the dress, but she looks fab nonetheless.

By the way, her mom Tina Knowles is selling off her Houston mansion….for $ 3.5 million.  I guess it’s time to officially move on from Mathew Knowles.  Check out the listing and pics over at Real Estalker.

Sean Kingston Fined $180 for Jet Ski Accident

After a three-month investigation into Sean Kingston‘s near-fatal jet-ski accident, investigators have concluded that the singer’s “inexperience and inattention” were to blame for the crash that almost killed him and a fellow passenger.

According to TMZ, a newly-released police report disclosed that Kingston did not know basic boating-safety procedures or read the instructions of the watercraft. They believe the 21-year-old crooner mistakenly released the throttle while turning the steering wheel at the same time, which caused him to lose control of the jet ski.

As we previously reported, Kingston suffered a broken jaw, a fractured wrist and water in his lungs after he crashed his jet ski into a bridge in Miami on May 29. The accident was so severe it caused him to have two open-heart surgeries, as well. According to the report, Kingston hit the bridge so hard that it left an imprint of his head on the cement.

Police fined Kingston for “careless operation [of a vehicle] in an accident” and fined him $ 180. While the fine is simply pocket change for Kingston, it’s way better than the other option, which could have been death. Hopefully, he takes this as a sign to attend a safety boating class and maybe take water-skiing lessons.

Beyonce Ready To Start Her Own Record Label And…A Boy Band?

In addition to launching her new fragrance "Pulse" at the Dream Hotel last night, and talking about the empowering effects of pregnancy, Beyonce shows no signs of slowing down and her even annouced plans to start a new record label.  Get the deets on what’s next for the mommy-to-be inside………

At the introduction of her latest fragrance, "Pulse," Beyonce revealed that she’ll soon be introducing her own record label and several artists she hopes to develop.  Even a boy band.

And while praising her mother and sister as wonderful moms and businesswomen, Bey admitted that she has no plans to slow down and will likely take her little Carter with her everywhere she goes.  Here are some highlights from her interview last night with the Associated Press….

AP: Your recent fashion show in London (with mother Tina Knowles for House of Dereon) was about empowerment. This scent is about empowerment. Why is that important to you?

Beyonce: I just enjoy being a woman and especially right now, I just feel so empowered. I think that is sort of my place in the world, for people to see that you can be an entrepreneur. You can have goals and dreams and you can grow and be strong and have your strong opinions, and all of these things bring that out in you.

AP: Does pregnancy make you feel more empowered?

Beyonce: Absolutely. It is the most powerful creation for you to be able to have life growing inside of you. There is no bigger gift, nothing more empowering.

AP: You have the fragrance, the clothing line, a husband, career and a baby on the way. What is next on your bucket list?

Beyonce: Balance. I am still working on balance and still growing. I am starting my company, my label. I want to create a boy band. I want to continue to produce and do documentaries and music videos. I eventually want to start directing for other artists. Once I know that I have my stuff together and I trust that, I can do it for other artists. I see so many male artists building these empires and passing their knowledge on to other artists and development. I see myself doing the same thing and hopefully other younger artists when they grow up and they have been around for 15, 20 years, they can do the same thing.

AP: What advice have you gotten from your mother and sister on motherhood?

Beyonce: I have the best examples around me because my sister is the most incredible mother. My mother, I am so proud of her. I see her and I could cry every time I think about her because she is such an incredible woman, so I just pray that I have the same bond with my children, child.

AP: Will the baby go everywhere with you?

Beyonce: Yes, I will probably be that way. I am sure I will. I think that it shouldn’t stop you. I think of course my life is going to change, and I definitely will make sacrifices, but you know, I think I will be able to bring hopefully my little rider with me.

AP: You are pregnant but work nonstop. How do you keep your energy up?

Beyonce: I think it is just passion. When you are excited about something, you don’t have to think about your energy. It is natural and comes from adrenaline. It is important that I don’t look at this as like an illness. I am not sick. I am the same woman and I have the same passions.

AP: What is your pregnancy style?

Beyonce: I think I have been trying to find things that of course are flattering to the silhouette. I think a woman’s curves when she is pregnant are so beautiful. I don’t want to get matronly, and I still find things that are sensual and feminine and funky. I have been mixing different textures and suit jackets and blazers. I don’t want to be in the same dress every day.

Also…..before she got "electric" blue last night, Bey rocked this lovely lavender gown at an earlier "Pulse" launch.

‘X Factor’ Recap: Chris Rene and Stacy Francis Blow the Judges Away

Chris Stacy

The ‘X Factor‘ debuted big last night, with plenty of laughable (and trite) contestants but even more head-turners. It might make fans of reality competition series that center on music say, ‘American Idol who?’

Cheryl Cole‘s early segments aired, before she was swapped out for Nicole Scherzinger, this series’ answer to Jennifer Lopez!

The single most shocking moment of the two hours? When Geo Godley, 43, dropped trou, sending Paula Abdul running for the rest room. Ick. Obviously he didn’t advance! One tone deaf contestant — you won’t remember her in a week, we can’t less than 12 hours later, which should tell you something about her “talents”– even got into a shouting match with Simon Cowell! Let’s hope these silly audition round moments fade quickly in favor of the real talent that’s not there for comedic relief, like the seven listed below.

Chris Rene: He hauls trash, got out of rehab, has a son and won the judges over with his rap/R&B hybrid ‘Young Homie,’ which was an original song! Cowell even said that while Rene needs the show, the show likely needs him for his star quality.

The Answer: This super cute boy band trio serenaded birthday girl Nicole Scherzinger (nice touch, guys) and a Britney/Adele mashup.

Marcus Canty: He was dangerously close to his mother’s deadline of two years to jump start his music career or go to college. He wowed the judges with his singing and dancing and the deadline has been extended.

Stacy Francis: She’s a single mom of two, but she has the pipes to bring a house down as her performance of ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’ demonstrated. She said she doesn’t want the music she has in her to die inside her. Anyone have a tissue?

Simone Battle: She didn’t make the hair on L.A. Reid’s arms stand on end, but she still got a second chance because of her confidence. She can “battle” to the top if she works. Hard.

Siameze Floyd: Prince just might sue for copyright infringement, but Siameze has charm, energy and energy drink aspirations; he wants a beverage named after him. His high leg kicks almost split his pants’ seam. He entertains, to say the least, but will likely be an early exit from heated competition.

Rachel Crowe: Simon said she’s the reason that they lowered the entry age for ‘X Factor.’ She belted out Duffy’s ‘Mercy’ like it was the easiest thing in the world. She was super adorable! Two thumbs up. Three if we had a third hand!

B.o.B’s Manager Picks Up Unpaid Bar Tab

Jason Merritt, Getty Images

B.o.B recently skipped out on a $ 1,060 bar tab after a concert at Cornell University. Now, after receiving lots of bad press over the incident, the rapper’s manager is looking to right the wrong by paying the hefty bill at Level B bar in Ithaca, N.Y.

B.o.B’s manager Brian Richardson stepped in, saying that he doesn’t want to have any hard feelings within the Cornell community. “I just want to make it right by Level B, and I want the people of Cornell to know that we’re a class act,” Richardson said (via W.E.N.N).

According to Level B owner Brad Weiss, B.o.B and his posse of more than a dozen people ordered three bottle of $ 300 Grey Goose vodka to their VIP section in the bar post-concert. After they were done partying, the rapper and his entourage exited the bar without even thinking twice about a bill.

Anthony Vipond, an employee at the bar, spoke to the press about the unpaid bar tab, explaining that B.o.B’s manager said, “We’re doing you a favor for not charging you … When we go to clubs, we get paid to come,” to which Vipond replied, “This is Ithaca, this is a different town. Things get handled a little differently here.”

Even though Weiss wasn’t going to press charges to begin with, he is very happy that B.o.B’s camp decided to do the right thing by paying the bill. “They were really apologetic. High marks to these guys … [They] seemed very concerned about all the bad publicity,” Weiss said.
