As they prepare for this week’s season finale, the cast of ABC’s hit show "Scandal" made some daytime TV appearances including jaunts through "GMA", "The View" and Kerry Washington appeared on "Wendy".  Watch clips from each show inside…

Earlier this morning, "Scandal" star Kerry Washington was spotted in New York’s Time Square.  Kerry was up bright and early to join the cast of her hit show on "GMA" to dish on this season’s many secrets and to promote the season finale, which airs Thursday.

Following her "GMA" appearance, Kerry switched gears and went over to the "WENDY" show where was joined by her Peeples co-star David Allan Grier to play a few games and promote their latest forray onto the big screen.

Then, the lady in red linked up with the "Scandal" cast again to appear on "The View" which was co-hosted by Judy Smith, the well-connected Washington powerhouse who inspired the "Olivia Pope" character.

Though we enjoyed seeing the cast make their rounds, actor Columbus Short was suspiciously absent…and no one bothered to explain his absence.  Hmmm….we wonder if he’s going to get killed off on soon (hope not!)….

On "Good Morning America:

The entire cast appeared on GMA and revealed that off-camera, they’re all good friends.  They watch the show as a group on weekends so they can cheer each other on.  Nice! 

On "Wendy":

Kerry told Wendy that she doesn’t like it when people say that Olivia Pope is the President’s side piece because it objectifies women.  When asked about the relationship between the President and Olivia, Kerry reminded the audience that POTUS has offered to leave his wife for Olivia, but she told him not to. She then asked the audience if Olivia was truly the side chick,  or if she remained "on the side" simply because she was afraid to be "all in." 

Later in the segment, she was joined by her Peeples co-star David Allan Grier to promote their movie (which is in theaters now). 

On "The View":

At the (6:31) mark, Tony Goldwyn, who plays President Fitzgerald Grant, re-enacts the scene (with co-host Sherri Shepherd) where the President tells Olivia that he will leave his wife and the White House.  He tells Sherri–in that sultry ass way he does–to sit down and says, "Watch me choose you…Watch me earn you!"  Then, he kisses her.  *fans self*

 

The season finale of "Scandal" airs May 16, 10p ET.  We’re SO there.

Robin Thicke CHATS IT UP With “The Breakfast Club”, Dishes On Paula Patton’s BOOTY Shorts And LEAVING “RHOH”

Robin Thicke stopped by Power 105 this morning to promote Blurred Lines and dish on how Paula Patton responds to his sexy videos and if he was mad at Kevin Hart’s jokes on "RHOH".  Watch the interview inside….

With his "Blurred Lines" single racing up the charts all around the world, Robin Thicke talked to "The Breakfast Club" about his sixth studio album and some of the controversy surrounding his music and television career.

While discussing "Blurred Lines", Robin revealed that his wife, Paula Patton, gave her thumbs up for making the sexy & slightly dirty video (because she understands the industry).  There was also a completely uncensored version too.  He added that when he comes home from a sexy video shoot, Paula is usual there waiting for him in some booty shorts or something else sexy…just to remind him of what he has at home.

And there has also been controversy about him leaving the "Real Husbands Of Hollywood".  He said he and Kevin Hart remain good friends and he’s indeed not doing Season 2 of "RHOH".  He’s finishing his sixth album and wants to focus on other entertainment ventures.  He added that he has written a short film called "Mercy" on how the healthcare industry impacts smalls towns, and he didn’t want "RHOH" to get in the way.

Singer Miguel tweeted a pic from his studio session with Beyonce. See the pic inside and watch Kerry Washington have some fun with Chelsea Handler.

It looks like pop icon Beyonce is working on a musical project with Miguel as he posted a pic with the Queen Bee saying, "woah. creating for Virgo’s all weekend."

No word yet on what the duo is cooking up but it could be linked to her Superbowl halftime show or some other project she has planned for 2013.

 

 

And on late night television….

Kerry Washington chatted it up with Chelsea Handler.  Kerry, who first appeared on Chelsea’s show four years ago, talked about the success of "Scandal" and revealed that the show had been picked up for nine new episodes.  She also talked about crisis manager Judy Smith, on whom her character is based. 

She then talked about her political activism and her support for President Barack Obama.  Congrats to Kerry on "Scandal" getting picked up for the full season!

Kerry Washington stopped by the Wendy Williams show to promote the second season of "Scandal" today. Watch a clip inside….

 

Kerry Washington, in her cute Brian Atwood heels, appeared on "WENDY" earlier today where she promoted the second season of her hit show "Scandal" and chatted with Wendy. Although she does not discusses her personal life, she did share a few tidbits with Wendy.  

  • She revealed that Lady Gaga and Diahann Carroll are two of her favorite style icons
  • She went to the same Boys & Girls Club as Jennifer Lopez in the Bronx.
  • The first concert she attended was Menudo featuring Ricky Martin at Madison Square Garden.
  • Claire Huxtable was her favorite character on "The Cosby Show."
  • To unwind after a hard day at work, she likes to walk her dog and maybe indulge in her favorite "cheat" food….popcorn!

"Adorn" singer Miguel chatted up The Breakfast Club this morning about the gay rumors, his thoughts on Frank Ocean and his image. Watch the interview inside…..

This morning, R&B crooner Miguel stopped by Power 105.1 to promote the upcoming release of Kaleidoscope Dream (in stores today).  The crew inquored about his "odd" image, the gay rumors and shared his thoughts on R&B guys coming out the closet.  But he will not be one of them as he spent time shooting down the rumors that he is a gay man.

While talking to the hosts about his image, he revealed that he was trying to figure out who he was while still trying to be who the record company believed he should be.  

Miguel revealed, "I was trying to be myself in the midst of being someone else. I’m much more sturdy as a person [now] and I’ve just found what complements me and who I am."  

Here are the highlights:

On gay rumors:

He said first and foremost, his priority is "the music" and he had to take a step back from people scrutinizing him because he didn’t want anything to detract from that.  However, he never addressed how he specifically felt about the rumors and how they made him feel.

On Frank Ocean:

"I think he is an amazingly talented musician."  When asked about Frank "coming out," he added that the "timing" of the announcment was interesting, but as a grown man, he doesn’t care about someone else’s sexuality.  He also described himself as "an individual who celebrates inviduality".

T.I. CHATS IT UP On “THE VIEW” About How JAIL Made Him EVOLVE & RELEASES “Trap Back Jumpin” SINGLE

T.I. talked to the ladies of "The View" this morning where he dished on his upcoming music projects, his novel and talked about why he walked away from street life. Watch the interview inside and listen to T.I.’s latest track, "Trap Back Jumpin."

 

Rapper T.I. appeared on "The View" this morning where he dished to the ladies about the changes and evolutions his life has been through.  While discussing his new novel, Trouble & Triumph: A Novel of Power & Beauty, T.I. revealed that he "knows" the street life he writes about.  He talked about his hard upbringing, how he is a "retired gangsta" and some of the people he met along that way.  Though he admits that he lived that life, he says his novel is based on his imagination and things he observed from people in his environment.

And while talking about his street life, he revealed that his two jail stints forced him to "evolve" and become a new person.  He mentioned his kids will never have to go through what he went through and he is bringing them up to be hard workers.

He also told the ladies that he opened himself up to reality TV to give fans a different view of who he was.  He also addressed rumors that he would retire from the business and said they aren’t true.  In fact, he’s released a new single called "Trap Back Jumpin."  The song will appear on Trouble Man which now has a December 18 release date.

Oprah jetted to Iowa this weekend to tape an episode of "Oprah’s Next Chapter" with Olympian Gabby Douglas, Gabby’s first interview at the home she’s spent her last two years.

Oprah Winfrey recently posted a preview of her interview with Meagan Good’s fiance DeVon Franklin where he talked about his faith and how he navigates the entertainment industry.   Oprah said on her Facebook page,

"I met a young man a couple of months ago who’s faith was so strong and Light was so bright, that after less than 7 minutes with him I said we need to do a show together. Also, Oprah recently interviewed both Paris Jackson and 50 Cent. During her interview, Paris revealed that she has been bullied at school and some kids are mean to her. President Barack Obama CHATS IT UP On “The View” About Gay Marriage, Wall Street And Pop Culture

President Obama stopped by "The View" today to discuss a range of topics from Wall Street reform and gay marriage to fun stuff like singing at the Apollo. Watch clips inside…..

 

Earlier today, President Obama stopped by "The View" where he was initially expected to make his first public announcement about same-sex marriage (but that was later trumped by a "GMA" interview with Robin Roberts).  After a little good natured ribbing about the scoop, he talked to the ladies about a wide range of subjects.

When asked if he ever got angry with Vice President Biden for being so outspoken, he said that he appreciated honesty and persons who spoke their mind.

When speaking about gay marriage, he trumped up the importance of the word "marriage" saying civil unions made gay couples feel "different."  He added that he knows this is a hot button issue but didn’t think it would be a deciding factor in the election.  He thinks the economy will be the biggest issue.

During one funny moment, Sherri asked him if he thinks the election will be "tight" and the President joked, "When your name is Barack Hussein Obama it will always be tight!"  The crowd loved it.  

When talking about Chase bank, he said that even smart people make mistakes.

And when Elizabeth asked how he would grade his administration, he said he’d give them an incomplete.

We also learned fun facts like "sports" are his guilty pleasure, he coaches Sasha’s basketball team, he loves guacamole and chips, and the First Lady Michelle is a little bit "jealous" that other folks get to hear his singing voice.
