BET released a statement earlier today about last night’s brawl at the 2012 BET HIP HOP Awards. Find out where the network stands on the incident inside and see what 50 Cent said when asked about the fight at the show……

 

We told you earlier about the brawl that broke out between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy at the 2012 BET HIP HOP Awards and now BET has released a statement about the incident.  Earlier today, the network said, 

"BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible."

Although conflicting reports have emerged about just what happened backstage and in the parking lot, according to an ATL police spokeman,

"Shortly after 7:15 pm Saturday, a fight broke out in the parking lot at the Atlanta Civic Center (where the BET Awards were being taped) between two groups. Atlanta Police Department officers on scene responded to break up the fight and used OC spray in the process. Individuals fled the scene. There were no arrests or reports of serious injuries. Reports of shots fired appear to be untrue."

There were also conflicting reports about 50 cent being involved in some type of altercation with a rapper named Gunplay but 50 was seemed to downplay the incidents from the show.  

When asked what happened at the show, he simply replied, "They gave out awards."  It seems like the rapper is moving in a more positive and peaceful direction and trying to avoid the drama or just not answer questions about it.

BET released a statement earlier today about last night’s brawl at the 2012 BET HIP HOP Awards. Find out where the network stands on the incident inside and get new deets about the altercation….

 

We told you earlier about the brawl that broke out between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy at the 2012 BET HIP HOP Awards and now more deets have emerged.  

According to an ATL police spokeman,

"Shortly after 7:15 pm Saturday, a fight broke out in the parking lot at the Atlanta Civic Center (where the BET Awards were being taped) between two groups. Atlanta Police Department officers on scene responded to break up the fight and used OC spray in the process. Individuals fled the scene. There were no arrests or reports of serious injuries. Reports of shots fired appear to be untrue."

However, sources tell TMZ that shots were indeed fired.

And earlier today BET released a statement regarding the altercation saying,

"BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible."

BONUS:

There were also coflicting reports about rapper 50 cent being involved in some type of altercation as well, but if he was, you wouldn’t know if from the way he exited the awards.  When asked about what happened at the show, he simply replied, "They gave out awards."  It seems like the rapper is moving in a more positive and peaceful direction and trying to avoid the drama…..

Trina Braxton REVEALS The DIRTY DEETS About Her “ORAL TRANSACTION” And Says She’s Not A Slut!

Trina Braxton is speaking out against the backlash she’s received since last week’s episode of "Braxton Family Values" where she admitted to performing oral sex on a man who wasn’t her husband!  Hear her explanation for the "oral transaction" inside…………..

During a chat with S2S’s Jamie Foster Brown, Trina Braxton responded to the backlash she’s been getting from fans who were pissy that she stepped out on her husband Gabe Solis.

“Some people call me a slut, which I’ve never been. I’m a lot of things, but a slut ain’t one of them.  Other people have been very, very supportive."?? ?

Trina explained that she had been feeling vulnerable and that’s what led her into the arms of another man.

“It wasn’t about getting back. It was about my own self-esteem." ?

When asked why she performed oral sex instead of just having full-on intercourse she said,

 “Honestly, Auntie Jamie, I’m one of those people, I don’t have but so many notches on my belt.  When it comes down to it, numbers mean a lot to me, and I’ve never been the type of woman to spread myself thin and let every Tom, Dick and Harry—or every Tom’s hairy d*ck—to associate with me and my body; not to sound vulgar. ?I don’t allow that with my body; I just don’t. I do not. I did not, and I will not.”

She went on to reveal that the incident actually happened a few years ago but she chose to reveal it to Gabe recently (and yes…..he was told about it BEFORE the show).

But one has to wonder, why would Trina put her business in the streets like that?  She said,

“One of the reasons, Auntie Jamie, is that throughout the season, first starting with season 1 and then in season 2, we kept talking about Gabe did this and Gabe did that and Gabe cheated… at the end of the day, everybody was feeling like Gabe was this bad guy and Trina was this princess. That’s not the truth, Auntie Jamie. It’s not a one-way street. He is not the only one with fault in this marriage.”

And as she reflected on the "transaction" it seemed like Trina was truly sorry that it happened…but it taught her a lesson. 

? “I learned some things about myself. I am imperfect in my marriage. I am not without blame.  As much as I try to say the scales aren’t even, doing somebody wrong is doing somebody wrong, no matter how even or uneven the scale might be. And two wrongs do not make it right." ?

 

True……but did Gabe deserve it?

Gabe did cheat on Trina NUMEROUS times throughout their marriage and Trina admitted that they hadn’t been intimate for awhile.  So does that give Trina the right to creep?

Whose side are you on?  Should a person be allowed to step outside of their relationship to "get even" or seek the intimacy they’re missing at home?

Former child star Kyla Pratt is all grown up and with a child of her own whom she talked about on "The Wendy Williams Show."  Get the deets on her baby and her relationship inside and find out about Big Boy losing over 500 lbs. 

Kyla Pratt stopped by the "WENDY" show today to promote her new role on BET’s "Let Stay Together" and most importantly, she cleared up rumors about her personal life.

The ish hit the fan a while ago after fans found out that Kyla had a 1-year-old daughter named Lyric (reportedly with a former stripper). 

Kyla, who’s 25, told Wendy that she did not announce her pregnancy because she didn’t want to deal with the negativity that some of her industry girlfriends dealt with when they had babies out of wedlock.  But she said, again, that she did not hide.  She says she went to Disneyland (while 8 months pregnant) and had a baby shower attended by 200 folks, including her BFF, actress Jennifer Freeman.

She says her man KP is a former competitive stripper (even though she tried to give it a different name in that long letter a while ago) and now works as a tattoo artist.  She then showed off the tatt he put on her wrist of their daughter.

Plus, she says marriage is definitely in the future!

Big Boy dropped by to promote his An XL Life book where he talked about having surgery to lose 500lbs in order to save his life.  But during the interview….Wendy jokingly offered him a twinkie!

Also during their chat, he revealed that he simply wanted to live and he knew his lifestyle was very unhealthy.  He also added that he had a vision that he would be dead in a year if he didn’t get fit.  He now encourages others to get healthy and choose life.

We told you yesterday about the shocking divorce between Kobe and Vanessa Bryant. Now details about their divorce settlement are leaking. Find out who gets to keep the estate inside….

On Friday, Kobe and his soon-to-be ex-wife Vanessa (above) attended a Christmas recital for their kids.  A source  said the two sat next to each other during the show and left together in the same car. 

This all makes sense because the Bryants don’t have anything to fight over.

We told you yesterday that Kobe and Vanessa have already struck a financial settlement…..and it’s deets are being kept under wraps.

However, it is being reported that Vanessa received their Newport Coast mansion and Kobe moved into other digs.

Sources are also saying that financial records indicate that Kobe is worth about $ 150 million.  Not bad, but its a far cry from news reports that set Kobe’s fortune at $ 400 million. 

Since they had no-prenup, I can’t wait until we find out how much Vanessa walked away with…..

Celebs, designers, and fashion editors alike hit Kanye West’s much anticipated Spring/Summer 2012 runway show during Paris Fashion Week tonight.

Kanye made his rounds at London Fashion Week before heading to Paris to ready his own line.  It’s the rapper’s newest and one of his most talked about venture.  This is, though, his first womenswear line, after he designed a line of sneakers for Louis Vuitton and his now defunct line Pastelle.

He’s kept the details of the line shroud in secrecy.  So everyone was on the edge of their seats tonight for the final show of the night.  Here’s a preview of his runway show and Kanye taking his bow after his debut:

Mr. West also had an unusual amount of other fashion designers on his front row: Alexander Wang, Joseph Altuzarra, Dean and Dan Caton of Dsquared, Jeremy Scott, and others.  Ciara and Tameka Raymond were also there.

While some folks gave the show and Kanye’s designs rave reviews, not everyone loved it.  The Online Style Editor of the well- respected International Herald Tribune based in Paris, Jessica Michault, commented:

I think that every one of the designers sitting in the front row at Kanye West must have had a deja vue moment at some point during the show

The Kanye West show, in my humble opinion, is proof that everyone can love fashion but not everyone can be a fashion designer.

Ok ok… I will admit that I did like the shoes at the Kanye West show.

FOOLYWANG MATERIAL: MORE DEETS On Orlando Brown’s DUI Arrest + Military Vet DEMANDS Soulja Boy Apologize For Saying “F*ck The Troops!”

In today’s foolywang roundup, more deets have been revealed about how "wasted" Orlando Brown was last month while driving around his pregnant girlfriend. 

Also, Soulja Boy released a song saying "F*ck The Troops" and now one military veteran is demanding an apology.  Get the deets inside…..

 

We told you last month about "That’s So Raven" star Orlando Brown being arrested for a DUI while driving around his PREGNANT girlfriend, but now even more shocking details have been revealed. 

TMZ reports that Orlando’s blood alcohol content was more than DOUBLE the legal limit in California and police could smell the alcohol on him before he got out the car! And all of this was going on with his pregnant girlfriend in the passenger’s seat.  What was she thinking?!

Orlando has been charged with 2 counts of DUI and now faces some serious jail time.

SMH….how can one even explain this type of foolish and dangerous behavior?

 

In other foolywang news……

 

You can blame it on immaturity or just plain ignorance, but Soulja Boy released a song called "Let’s Be Real" that includes the lyrics 

"F**k the FBI and the army troops … fighting for what? Be your own man …
… I’ll be flying through the clouds with green like I’m Peter Pan."

And now one retired Marine, Fred A. Flores, who’s now a commissioner for the L.A. County Veteran’s Advisory Commission, is speaking out saying 

"It’s a very offensive statement … especially with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 coming up.  He should apologize to ALL armed forces."

He continued saying, "[The rap] is very irresponsible…especially for a person who is an entertainer for the youth of our country."

One can only imagine where Soulja’s mind was when he wrote that song.  

But FYI…..its thanks to the efforts of the troops keeping America safe, that allow him to waste his money and talent on frivilous materialistic items and vapid songs.  How ungrateful!
