TLC has been officially revived….by three of their biggest fans.  Check out the first promo pic with Drew Sidora, Lil Mama and KeKe Palmer as TLC for the upcoming biopic….

VH1 has released the first official promo pic for "Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story".  And it made us do a double take.

Drew Sidora (as T-Boz), KeKe Palmer (as Chilli) and Lil Mama (as Left Eye) are going hard in transforming into the favorite girl group who sang, rapped and danced to the tune of bright colors, controversial safe sex messages and everything in between.

For the official promo shot, the three ladies re-enacted TLC’s 1992 album cover for Oooooh On The TLC Tip…. And we’re actually feelin’ it.

The TV movie was shot in just a few weeks in Atlanta recently, and will give the story of how TLC rose to fame, their trials and tribulations with money and managers, and what went on in their personal lives.

The "TLC Story" airs this November, and you can calm your nerves because the girls will be lip synching to TLC’s actual music.  T-Boz & Chilli, the two surviving members, served as consultants on the movie.

Will you be watching?

Kandi Burruss DISHES To Dr. Drew About Sex And “Bedroom Kandi” + Sheree Whitfield REVEALS Why She Left “RHOA”…And The STATUS Of Chateau Sheree

Kandi Burruss and her mama Joyce stopped by Dr. Drew’s show to discuss her successful sex toy line. Watch their segment inside and see former "RHOA" star Sheree Whitfield clear up rumors about why she left the show and if Chateau Sheree is really NEVERland…

"RHOA" star Kandi Burruss stopped by Dr. Drew’s talkshow to dish on her successful sex toy line.  When asked why she created it, she said,

“I have an online talk show.  We talk openly about sex and relationships. And from there, I got an idea of what people like over the last two years. I thought, ‘I want to have my own toys’. It’s an idea I thought would be fun and it has grown into something much bigger.”

Mama Joyce threw in her two cents saying the line is a great idea….especially for older women.  She cautioned that older women also have to protect themselves from STDs while maintaning a healthy sex life.  True…but awkward convo with moms right?

Also, today is Kandi’s 36th birthday!

In other reality tv news…..

Sheree Whitfield has opened up to VIBE about why she left "RHOA" saying, “We don’t see the editing or what’s going on until the few days before everyone else and I saw how it affected my kids and their lives seeing their parents on TV, in court fighting. It’s just not good. So I felt like I needed to step back, because at the end of the day, I am more than just what you see on TV."

While adding that Chateau Sheree is still being worked on (straight face), she said the fighting on tv with women she didn’t like and the whole child-support issue was taking its toll.

She added,  “Do I think African American women are portrayed in a negative light? Yes, I do. To me it’s not a race issue, it’s a gender issue.”

So what’s next for Sheree? She’s working with the “Lose 5 Million Pounds” campaign and has partnered with a fitness company.  Oh…

Astro and Drew Eliminated on ‘X Factor’

Drew and Astro

Bum-out alert! On tonight’s elimination episode of ‘X Factor,’ the bottom three consisted of our faves: Drew, Astro and Marcus Canty. The defiant Astro and a tearful Drew both ended up being sent home.

It was Drew’s first time facing elimination, while Astro and Marcus have both experienced life at the bottom before. Can we protest somewhere? Sign a petition to bring ‘em back? Actually, that’s probably not necessary, since both will have record deals soon.

Why, you ask, is it that two acts were going home? There’s no clear answer, they just changed the rules. The contestant with the lowest amount of votes was being bounced automatically while the other two had to perform “save” songs for the judges. Sadly, it was Astro who was voted off by America for his performance.

The cocky and confident rapper, who took heat for his attitude last time he was in the bottom, was gracious in defeat this time out. “I loved my time [here]. I gained a lot of fans. Team L.A. Reid, it ain’t over,” he said, showing support for his fellow singers on Reid’s Boys team. Nice move, Astro.

Who wants to wager that when Astro signs to Jay-Z‘s label in a few days? He has to. It’s not like Reid doesn’t have the straight up BatPhone line for the Hova.

But back to our story, with Drew and Marcus singing for survival. Drew was totally a wreck upon learning she had to do so, crying and saying she was scared, while Marcus was a bit more composed. He was also in this position last week, which sucked. “I was hoping I wasn’t here again. I am giving you my soul tonight,” he said. But America wasn’t digging last night’s performance.

The “save” songs have to be “knock it out of the park”-style numbers. Drew went with Roxette’s ’90s pop ballad ‘Listen to Your Heart,’ which she sang for her mentor Simon Cowell at his home early on in the competition. She gave it her all, and she showed her vocal range. Adult contemporary songs and a sweet, dreamy vulnerability are Drew’s things, and that’s the direction in which she wants to go with her career, so she chose wisely.

Canty sang Gladys Knight and the Pips’ R&B tearjerker ‘Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye.)’ How fitting a song choice, since both he and Drew had to be feeling that emotion. Canty funneled all of his heart and soul into this song, which was way better than his “save” performance from last week.

L.A. Reid elected to stick with his team member and voted to send Drew home. Cowell was not the tie breaker this week. He took the blame for Drew being in the bottom, saying that he chose the wrong song (we disagree) and having her seated while singing was a mistake (another thing we disagree about.) His vote was to send Marcus home. Nicole Scherzinger sent Drew packing, even though she believes the teen has a long career ahead of her.

Paula Abdul had the tie breaking vote. She said the “save song” has “to move, move move me.” Apparently, Drew didn’t move her times three, so she sent the teen on her way.

Cowell was bloody furious as Drew sobbed. PopCrush had to grab tissues at this point, since we felt so bad for her. Drew, baby, you have a bright future. You are the new Sarah McLachlan.

“I don’t want to say anything,” Cowell barked when asked if he had parting words, as he shot Paula the death stare.

Before Drew left the stage, she threw a big shout out to Jesus. Remember, when we first met her, Drew proclaimed she was obsessed with Justin Bieber, who gave major props to JC during an acceptance speech at the 2011 VMAs. It’s all cyclical in the pop universe.
