EXCLUSIVE: Rich Dollaz On Arrest–”I Got Everything Straightened Out”

Photobucket

Rich Dollaz is having an extra rough couple of weeks.  After his sarcastic claim of being engaged to Erica Mena backfired, he caught heat about his girl (and him being with other women) on radio interviews, and yesterday, he was arrested in Memphis.

Rich tells TheYBF.com he’s got it all straightened out now.  Get the deets inside….

News broke late last night that Rich Dollaz was creeping through Memphis…and ended up getting arrested.  He was there to scope out a talent showcase.  But when 5-0 got wind he was in town, he was arrested due to a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Apparently, those paternity issues from over a year ago hadn’t been straightened out, and he was supposed to appear in court for a paternity test.  Needless to say he missed it, and him popping up in Memphis under an alleged fake name didn’t help.

Rich was a free man just a few hours later, and he talked to us today saying he handled everything:

"I’m good, I’m watching the Knicks game right now.  I got into some trouble.  Shorty (his alleged baby’s mama) did some fabricating, but I’m good now."

And good he is.  He posted the above pic hanging out with his boys in Memphis after he was released.  He said:

Mtown Bitch and yes I’m free hoe

And it didnt stop there.  Rich went in on his Twitter (then later deleted it) saying:

"Bitch mad cuz Mickell got me out n 2 hrs crying and all that don’t call the jail hoe I run the M hoe not u. Don’t be mad I’m hot I rep the M So yeah I get out of jail in 3 hours you mad bitch?"

This morning, his vixen girlfriend Erica Mena tweeted pics of them kissing, but we’re told they’re old pics:

We guess she was trying to show her "support."

Well isn’t that…special.  Guess we’ll see all this play out on season 3 of "Love & Hip Hop."  Because, of course, we’ve learned that the cameras are still running and the cast is still filming.

Blue Ivy Carter: Everything We Know About Beyonce’s Baby Name

It’s obvious that Blue Ivy Carter is not just your run-of-the-mill baby book name, but it may be even more clever than it seems. Apparently, Beyonce and Jay-Z carefully hand-crafted the name of their new baby girl after things that are near and dear to their hearts.

Many folks think that Blue Ivy’s middle name comes from a great influence: the Roman numeral IV, or four, which has proven to be a recurring theme for the couple. We all know that Mama Bey’s most recent album is ’4,’ but both of the music moguls have birthdays that fall on the 4th day of the month, too. Beyonce was born Sept. 4, 1981, while her hubs walked into the world on Dec. 4 of ’69.

But that’s only the beginning. Beyonce’s mom, Tina, is also a proud shareholder of a fourth-day-of-the-month birthday, and many of the couple’s good friends are in that ring as well, which surely is not just a coincidence. Bringing baby Blue Ivy’s name full circle, Beyonce and Jay married on April 4, 2008. Clearly, her name was only appropriate. See ya later, Tiana May!

As for the first name Blue, that one is closely tied to the new dad. Jay-Z has dropped three volumes of ‘The Blueprint,’ and baby makes four — or IV. Crazy, right? He even saw success with the track ‘Blue Magic’ from his album ‘American Gangster,’ though being that it’s about heroin, we hope that one’s just a coincidence.

While the original buzz was that baby Carter’s name is Ivy Blue, new reports allege that she’s actually going by Blue Ivy Carter. In any case, it’s clear that the name was perfectly picked for her.

Pitbull, Ne-Yo + Marcus Canty Bring ‘International Love’ + ‘Give Me Everything’ to ‘X Factor’ Finale

Pitbull and Ne-Yo brought some ‘International Love’ and their collabo track ‘Give Me Everything’ to the stage of the ‘X Factor‘ finale tonight (Dec. 22.) Ne-Yo filled in for Chris Brown on ‘International Love,’ while ‘X Factor’ semi-finalist Marcus Canty dropped by to sing a verse on ‘Give Me Everything.’ Canty was in his element, wearing some serious black leather pants, too.

It was the perfect song for Canty to showcase his skills, since it plays to his strength, which is to seamlessly mix pop, hip-hop and R&B. It didn’t hurt that he was on a national stage, surrounded by two bonafide super duper stars in the genre he is hoping to build a career in. While Canty may have been voted off last week, he was certainly in the best possible position by performing with these two!

Pit, Ne-Yo and Canty elevated the mood, since the tension in the room was incredibly thick as viewers waited for the winner results. Josh Krajcik and Melanie Amaro were the final two contenders on ‘X Factor,’ with Amaro ultimately taking home to $ 5 million recording contract as the champ.

Mary J. Blige Does Everything Right in ‘Mr. Wrong’ Video

Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige can do no wrong in our book. The veteran songbird comes through with another visually-stunning video for ‘Mr. Wrong,’ the latest single from her LP ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 1).’ The clip features Blige in several different glamorous outfits and wigs that are reminiscent of her style during the ‘My Life’ album period.

The video opens up to Blige in a music box as she sings about loving a bad boy despite him treating her so bad. The singer goes through various wardrobe changes including a curly mohawk and a blond hairstyle looking like Marilyn Monroe.

The only thing wrong about this video is that Drake, who appears on the track, is mysteriously absent. What’s up with that? Did Drizzy turn down the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul? Now he’s truly Mr. Wrong, if he did that.

He wasn’t really needed, as Blige and her background dancers held it down. Near the end of the video, Blige and her bodacious team drop it low and pump their fists in an excellent choreographic performance of femininity and power.

Filmmaker Diane Martel directed the ‘Mr. Wrong’ video and just like Blige’s previous clip for ‘25/8,’ it’s beautiful and empowering.
