Before Kanye West was a ‘College Dropout,’ he was a young teenager rapping on the scene with a gangsta lean. Although urban legend has it that the Chicago native was a ferocious MC when he was a youngster, we haven’t bear witness to his earlier years of him spitting rhymes on the mic.

Someone went digging around on YouTube and found an old video of a 19-year-old West rapping onstage at a Chicago-area club. The clip, which was uploaded in 2010, features Yeezy and a local rapper named Phenom sharing the stage at the Double Door venue in 1996. The video features a confident West reciting rapid-fire punchlines and repeating the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard line, “I’ve never been tookin’ out / I keep MCs lookin’ out.”

It’s evident that Yeezy had a lot of chutzpah and stage presence as a young rapper. Even back then, he felt highly of himself. “Kanye 9-6 y’all / The divine one / The fine one / Whatever, the dime one,” West raps before closing out his set.

Yesterday, Red Tails stars Tristan Wilds and Elijah Kelley did the "wobble" at Tuskegee University as part of the "Red Tails Tuskegee Takeover" on the school’s campus.  Watch the cast members kick it with the kids inside, and see MORE pics from the White House screening with The Obamas. 

Tristan Wilds and Elijah Kelley were on the campus of Tuskegee University yesterday for RED TAILS TUSKEGEE TAKEOVER.  The event featured movie screenings, historic bus tours, a community block party, and a meet & greet with actual Tuskegee Airmen and RED TAILS cast members. 

The event is a part of a massive campaign to promote the film which opens in theaters on January 20, 2012.

We told you earlier about The White House screening of Red Tails with the cast and the original Tuskegee Airmen, now director Anthony Hemingway (far right) has tweeted more pics from the evening. 

First he posted,

Then once at The White House, "Passing time in the White House theater, waiting for the President & The Tuskegee Airmen".

President Obama and wife Michelle came out to discuss the importance of the movie and Anthony tweeted,
