It was a double medal day for superstar tennis pro Serena Williams on Saturday.  Not only did she and her sister Venus win the doubles Wimbledon title, but Serena went on to also win the Women’s Singles title.  She’s now tied her big sis for 5 Wimbledon medals.  Check out their exciting trophy pics inside…

It’ the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament int he world.  And Serena Williams copped 2 medals in just one day at Wimbledon’s Centre Court in London on Saturday.

Later on, Serena won over Poland’s Agnieszka Radwanska in three matches.  This is the stylish athlete’s 5th Wimbledon title, and she now ties her sister at that number.  And chick was literally jumping for joy:

It was an emotional win as Serena hopped in the stands as soon as she won to hug her father and coach Richard, and her mom Oracene looked on as well during the rainy matches.

Venus gushed tot he press about her little sister’s Singles win saying:

‘I felt I played a match with her earlier so I felt like it was my second match too,’ a beaming Venus said after accepting the doubles trophy in the Royal Box.  ‘It was a great day for all of us.  If anyone knows what that (winning the singles and doubles here on the same day) feels like, it’s me. It’s an amazing feeling.’

Such an amazing accomplishment.  Congrats to Venus & Serena!
