Ray-J loves taking attempts at relevancy. And his attempt shot is a song called "I Hit It First" where he tells his ex’s new smash buddies that he had her first. Apparently, he thinks his ex was something to brag about banging. It’s like a D measuring contest set to music.
The hook? Ray singing "I hit it, I hit it, I hit, I hit it first."
He also takes a shot at his ex Kim K.s baby daddy Kanye West saying:
She might move on to rappers and ballplayers
But we all know I hit it first.I had her head going North and her ass going South
But now baby chose to go WestNo matter where she goes or who she knows
She still belongs in my bed.
A song about a thirsty chick smashing a celeb, then climbing the thirst ladder to pro athletes and rappers could apply to a wide array of folks. But thanks to Ray using a blurred out pic of Kim as the single cover, in addition to the above shots fired, it’s clear Kimmy was his muse for the song.
