POKER CHICK: Blondie Tia Mowry Hardrict Throws Down Chips In Vegas….For A Cause

Tia Mowry-Hardrict had a girls trip to Vegas this weekend.  And the fab mom & actress mixed a little charity into her fun.  Check out Tia hitting the poker tables for a cause inside, plus deets on her brand new role for her brand new show…

Actress Tia Mowry, who’s showing off her new blonde look, flexed her poker skills at Ceasars Palace in Vegas yesterday.  It was all to raise money for Opportunity Village, which is a company who works to give people with intellectual disabilities and their families choices in where and how they are served.

So she had some fun with friends for the charity event by throwing some chips around on the poker table:

Tia’s twin sis Tamera Mowry Housley came out to Vegas as well.  And Tia, who formerly starred on "The Game", had lots to celebrate with her girls all weekend.  Her show "Instant Mom" on Nick At Nite & NickMom has been picked up for a full season.

She posted on her website about the deal saying:

The show is about a young party girl (me! hehe) who trades in her cosmos for carpools when I marry an older man who has three kids. The pilot was so fun to film and I couldn’t be more excited for you all to see it. I can’t wait to get back to the studio and start filming the rest of the season! Sooo excited to be on TV again, yay!!

Former stripper turned video vixen turned rapper Lola Monroe was spotted glowing during her baby shower in the Hollywood Hills over the weekend.

The party was thrown by Diddy’s gal Cassie whom Lola thanked for the beautiful celebration tweeting, ‘"Thaank u @CassieSuper 4 being so special n throwing me such a beautiful baby shower!!ur such a great friend #Rare #Genuine Love u so much! ?"

Casse was all smiles as she rubbed Lola’s baby bump. And you’ll recall that Lola made an appearance on Cassie’s "All Gold, All Girls (Remix)."

Guests included singer Teairra Mari, top model Toccara Jones, rapper Hazel-E and eye lash guru Jammal Buster.  Lola tweeted, "So much love today…friends and family..in town to the ones that flew in. Thank you for joining us to be apart of something special."

1.  New Orleans rapper Mr. Magic, who was once signed to No Limit records, died Friday night in a car accident.  The crash, which occured in Hattiesburg, MS, also claimed the life of his wife.  Reportedly, the couple’s 12-year-old daughter survived the accident.  Story.

Beyonce Knowles threw on her construction hat, cargo jacket and Isabel Marant sneakers (and always keeping some chicness with the leather pants) to officially get back to work last night.  Check out what she’s up to inside…

After a few weeks break after a very busy beginning of 2013, Beyonce posted some fun pics on her Tumblr and Facebook saying "Back to work" last night.  And the fab chick looked fresh faced and cute playing around on a construction cart and in a construction hat…and we wonder if she’s on the set–which is in the making–of her upcoming Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

She’s kicking things off in the UK next month, and those tix for virtually every city sold out in 10 minutes.  Same here in the states.  And since announcing her tour a few weeks ago, she’s added a few more shows to cities like London and Brooklyn.

Toya Wright must be competing for ATL’s party host/mom/wife of the year.  Because she just put together her fourth party in two weeks….this one for her sexy husband Memphitz.

At the Melia Hotel in Atlanta last night, reality star & boutique owner Toya Wright threw together a fab bash for her producer husband, Memphitz.  She invited their celeb friends and fam to his surprise party (his b-day was last week on December 10th) filled with drinks and panoramic views of the city.  She was likely returning the favor after Memphitz threw Toya a big surprise 29th birthday party back in October.

And Memph’s newest employee, Mary Jane, posed it up with Toya.  MJ will be starring on the upcoming reality show foolishness "Real Mistresses of Atlanta," created and executive produced by Memphitz of course.

The show has been picked up by the Oxygen channel, and Memph’s already got a Dallas, Texas spinoff in the works.  He tweeted recently:

Off to Dallas.  Didn’t imagine it would be this easy recruiting for the New Show.  But I guess they’re everywhere. Stay tuned. 2013.

Yes Memphitz, finding folks to partake in the lowest common denominator of entertainment is never all that difficult.

Nicki Minaj ADDRESSES Funkmaster Flex On THE BREAKFAST CLUB, Throws More Shade At Lil’ Kim

Nicki Minaj called into The Breakfast Club to discuss her Summer Jam 2012 cancellation, her fight night phone call with Funkmaster Flex, and she also threw some shade at Lil’ Kim. Deets inside……

"I’m not pulling the female card, but I was the only female on the bill!"  Nicki Minaj called into The Breakfast Club earlier to discuss the disrepectful (according to Nicki) remarks made by HOT 97 personality Peter Rosenberg at Summer Jam 2012.

"You should think about that before you attack the only woman on the bill.  Something should kick in.  This girl….I may not like one or two songs but she’s holding it down for every female in Hip Hop at this moment."

During the discussion, The Breakfast Club came to Nicki’s defense commenting that the male DJs rarely "go at" male hip-hop stars and many viewed Peter as being sexist.

DJ Envy added, "Lil Wayne made the perfect decision; I would’ve pulled her a long time ago. They belittle women, and let’s be serious they’re the number 8 morning show in the market." WOMP.

Nicki said she doesn’t expect an apology though. "Everybody makes mistakes, but you have to own your mistakes. And that’s the problem. When you don’t own it, people feel like you can do this in the future and get away with it."

Nicki added that she learned a valuable lesson about self-respect and her own worth over the weekend.  "What I don’t do is perform in a place where they don’t respect me."

Nicki also said that a performance with Foxy Brown at Summer Jam 2012 had been planned for months and that Foxy was very supportive of her decision to cancel her show.

She also threw shade at Lil’ Kim (surprise, surprise) when DJ Envy said he heard a rumor that Nicki had planned to stage a "funeral scene" featuring a Lil’ Kim look-a-like. Before he could even finish, Nicki cut him off saying, "That’s not even in my character. Please stop spreading rumors giving people false hope that they are still relevant."

She continued, "I am not about to bring death on my stage. My stage is about life and love. Period."

She also reiterated that she will soon do a free show for the NY/NJ area to make it up to her fans.

He put Flex on blast for attacking females in the industry but NEVER dissing the men (well..I do recall a throwdown with DJ Clue, if that counts). Last night on "Love & Hip Hop"…drinks were tossed (again), extensions were pulled (again), faces were slashed (again) and "b!tch" was a noun, an adjective and a verb (as usual)! Watch the full episode inside and see Kimbella get into ANOTHER her hair-pulling fight, but this time it’s with newbie Erica Mena.

 

VH1′s other guilty-pleasure, "Love & Hip Hop", was packed with punches last night….literally. 

Juelz Santana’s baby momma and "booty" model Kimbella caught ANOTHER beat down…but this time it was from newcomer Erica Mena.  Erica, whose baby daddy is Raul from Terror Squad, thinks of herself as a "real" model and video chick.   Why?  Because she started doing videos at 16 (she’s now 24) back when video chicks had "credibility."  Her words, not mine.  She’s also done fashion and NY Fashion Week.  And doesn’t just find new ways to toot her booty up in pics–like she says Kimbella does.

She expressed her resentment towards "booty" models like Kimbella saying thirsty chicks like them mess up everyone’s money because they often times do videos and stuff for free. (Sidenote: While I do feel like this is a pigeon fighting with a duck–they’re both birds–I know exactly where Erica is coming from and why I always say thirst kills.  Kills ANY game.) Erica claims the modeling game is diluted because of their thirst, so she took it out on Kimbella’s face and hairline.

Reality tv money must be pretty nice these days as Evelyn Lozada has been rolling about in some high priced luxury cars recently, including a new Maserati her fiance Chad Ochocinco bought her.  See the pics inside and decide if she threw shade at frenemy Jennifer Williams.

Actress Jennifer Freeman threw a princess-themed birthday bash for her 2-year-old daughter Isabella Watson yesterday.  See pics from the adorable party inside….

Mommy (who just turned 26 days ago) and daughter had some uber cute times at The COOP in Studio City yesterday. 

 

2-yr-old Isabella, whose dad is Jen’s hubby NBA baller Earl Watson, rocked a frilly pink tutu for her big day.

And she was crowned a princess by her mom.

 
Jen’s good friends Cara Mia Wayans, Brooklyn Sudano, and Khadijah McCray joined in at Isabella’s party.
