Great news for all you Barbies out there! Not only is Nicki Minaj‘s song with David Guetta been certified gold, but she and the famed French producer/DJ will be shooting a music video for it! And an extra dose of good news for Minaj fans in the U.K., the rapper herself will be going on a short promotional tour in support of her new album, ‘Roman in Moscow,’ next month! Get ready for anarchy in the U.K.!
Elsewhere in the Twitterverse, Big Boi and Andre 3000 were in a studio together. We here at PopCrush are really hoping for some new Outkast tunes! Please? What if we ask nicely?
Not only are Big Boi and Andrew 3000 working on new material, but so are Ludacris and Timbaland. Luda tweeted that he and the hitmaker are in the studio putting in work on his new album tentatively titled, ‘Ludaversal.’ (Full disclosure: We really hope he changes that.)
And we must recognize that Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo‘s sly relationship is once again rearing it’s head on the Twitter waves. Mr. Derulo had a special “guest” on his Twitter account this week. Maybe Ms. Sparks is acting as Derulo’s (ahem) nurse after unfortunately fracturing his neck.

Nick Cannon Gives Update From L.A. Hospital: This Week’s Best Tweets
Nick Cannon has had quite the week. After falling ill due to minor kidney failure, the radio host, rapper, father and hubby to Mariah Carey tweeted that he underwent surgery at a hospital in Los Angeles. Of course, we’re sending well wishes and healthy vibes to Nick and his family as he’s on the mend!
Elsewhere on Twitter this week, Ludacris announced he’ll be opening a restaurant called Chicken & Beer in the Grand Concourse terminal in the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Hmm…wonder what they’ll be serving?
Simon Cowell sent well wishes via Twitter to the family of Kerry McGregor, a finalist on the U.K.’s version of ‘X Factor,‘ as she lost her battle with bladder cancer this week. The Scottish born-singer leaves behind a son, Joshua, just seven years-old. May she rest in peace.

The rapper confirmed via Twitter today she will release videos for ‘Stupid H–,’ and ‘Roman In Moscow,’ in two weeks! Rihanna was soliciting a bit of advice from her biggest fans on deciding a new single while Lady Gaga was getting excited for dropping the ball (literally) in Times Square on New Years Eve. Jessica Simpson was having some interesting pregnancy food cravings and Selena Gomez’s dog joined the family at the dinner table. Wiz Khalifa was experiencing some minor head trauma after sleeping in pig tails (truth is stranger than fiction sometimes, people) and the Script was reminiscing about a very rockstar moment.
